With the many advancements in technology today it is easy to create your own trade show graphics. One thing to remember is that you want your images and messages to be simple and your layouts clean. There are five basic elements that a trade show booth should include. They are: a visual, a headline, your company name and logo, a description and your web address.

The most effective images to use when creating a memorable display are simple, bold and clear images. If the graphics are too ornate or confusing it can distract from your message. If possible, try to select simple images to tell your story.

You want to have a simple and easy to remember headline. You want to choose your words carefully and keep the message simple, clear and short. The shorter the headline the larger it can appear on your display. The larger your headline is, the farther it will reach into the trade show traffic. The choice of typeface is also important. You want to choose a typeface that is easy to read.

When writing a description for your trades show display you want to keep it to a minimum of a few sentences. You should try to keep your sentences short and choppy and make each word count. Use bullet points and don’t get too technical. Just remember less is more.

You want to make sure that your company name is prominent. You pay a lot of money to exhibit your products so make sure the company’s name is easy for all to see. Put your company name and logo in the header portion of your trade show display. If you don’t have a logo you might consider getting one. It gives your company an established and professional look.

Just remember to keep your message short and to the point. Trade show graphics are the key to getting more traffic into your exhibit. So make sure you make the most out of them.
